FAQ
An SPC (Stone Polymer Composite) floor covering is a type of vinyl flooring consisting of a combination of limestone powder and plastic materials. This composition gives SPC flooring specific characteristics that differentiate it from other types of flooring, such as traditional vinyl or laminate. Swing represents the new frontier in SPC flooring, with click installation and an innovative technology (rigid core reinforced with mineral powder - RCB) that guarantees unsurpassed durability and resistance.
LVT (Luxury Vinyl Tile) flooring is a type of high-quality flexible vinyl flooring (100% PVC) designed for full-bonding installation, imitating the appearance of natural materials such as wood, stone, or ceramic, but with all the additional benefits of vinyl. The LVT Swing collections are characterised by their design, strength and versatility (total bonding installation on both floor and wall).
Realism and design varietySWING is the next-gen flooring with superior performance and textures compared to traditional PVC flooring, thanks to which it is possible to achieve graphic effects and colours that are not available on normal vinyl surfaces. The collections are made with the utmost care for every detail - both in terms of decors and surface effects - with unique and always trendy solutions, so as to guarantee an aesthetically unsurpassable end result in every environment!
Strength and durabilityThey are extremely resistant to wear, abrasion and impact, making them ideal for both residential and high-traffic areas such as commercial environments, offices, gyms, schools, etc.
Ease of installationSwing floors are designed with a click-in system that allows for quick and easy installation: this makes the installation process relatively quick and reduces the waiting time for footfall.
Water resistanceare 100% waterproof, making them suitable for environments such as bathrooms and kitchens.
Ease of maintenanceSwing floors are easy to maintain and require only regular cleaning with a damp cloth and neutral detergent.
Comfort and resilienceSwing offers a warmer and more resilient feel than materials such as ceramic or marble. In addition, the already integrated mat makes it more comfortable and quieter to walk on.
Dimensional stabilityDue to its technology and rigid structure, Swing has high dimensional stability, which means that it does not undergo significant expansion based on changing environmental conditions (as is the case with other types of flooring).
Swing floor coverings can be installed on pre-existing floors such as ceramic tiles with a planar joint of up to almost 1 cm; the thickness of only 6 mm guarantees non-invasive installation and no further adjustments to be made on the doors; this makes them ideal especially for renovation or restyling.

Swing is the perfect choice for pet lovers. With its durability and ease of cleaning, our friends can chase each other, play or take a nap on a warm and cosy floor. The non-slippery surface layer provides the right grip for paws, reducing the risk of slips or falls.
Thanks to the PU polyurethane surface protection and the patented click system, Swing floors are waterproof and do not absorb stains, liquids or oily substances. This feature makes them ideal as a solution for commercial environments subject to frequent cleaning with water.
Daily use of the product will determine how often the floor needs to be cleaned. Sweep if necessary with a soft broom or hoover without a beater bar. Clean with a mop or damp cloth, rinsing frequently in clean water. If necessary, wash the floor with a neutral detergent emulsion solution, again with clean water. Rinse thoroughly and wipe off any residual water. For extra shine, wipe with a dry cloth.
Stains, marks and spills must be removed as soon as possible.
Abrasions can result from slipping or dragging heavy appliances or furniture across the floor: this can be avoided by placing a soft felt or carpet under appliances before repositioning them. Rubber feet on furniture can leave marks. Remove them completely or place felt pads to protect them.
The acronym VSPC - VENEER SOLID POLYMER CORE - stands for a layered floor consisting of a rigid core made of inert (mineral) materials and a surface of real oak veneer.

WPC (Wood Plastic Composite) Outdoor Flooring co-extruded is a composite material consisting of a mixture of hardwood fibres and high-density polyester. This type of flooring is designed to combine the aesthetic advantages of wood with the durability and low maintenance of composite materials.
DurabilityIt is well resistant to weather, UV rays, humidity and temperature variations, making it ideal for outdoor use. It is resistant to stains, insects and mould, common problems in natural wood flooring.
Maintenance reduced: no need for painting, sealing or regular treatment like traditional wood. Easy to clean with water and neutral detergent.
SecurityNon-slip surface, making it safe even in wet conditions. Splinter-free, unlike natural wood, reducing the risk of injury.
The slats are fully coated with an engineered polymer, which provides a protective shield to the material and makes it waterproof (it does not absorb liquids such as oil, wine, coffee, etc.).
The core consists of a mixture of hardwood flour, high-density polyester (HDPE) and additives.
KIKO DECKING is a new generation of wood composite, coated on all sides with a shield that protects the core. This unique protection ensures unrivalled durability and colour stability, provides a waterproof layer that protects it from mould, fungus and stains and also provides a barrier against external agents.
No, the protective waterproof layer prevents splitting and cracking in its surface, ensuring a long service life.
No, the special curing of the shield avoids the need for periodic maintenance.
Wine, coffee and grease do not stain the surface as the coating prevents the absorption of liquids.
Yes, the shield completely covers the inner core providing protection that prevents the growth of mould and fungus over time.
KIKO DECKING is suitable for all outdoor environments, both commercial and residential, and thanks to its special wrap-around and waterproof coating, it is particularly suitable for use in outdoor areas such as restaurant and bar terraces, pool edges, walkways and terraces.
The KIKO DECKING planks must never come into direct contact with grass or concrete or any other surface and must be installed with a solid substructure consisting of mats - made of aluminium or autoclave-impregnated larch - that guarantee the material's stability over time. Before installation, ensure that the supporting surface is suitably flat, even and slightly inclined (to allow water to drain off). The expansion of the material must always be taken into consideration, leaving at least 2 cm of space around the entire perimeter of the area to be paved. In any case, we recommend that you view the installation video at this link
KIKO TILE tiles are composed of the latest generation of co-extruded WPC, the same mixture of which the planks are also made.
Thanks to the already integrated substructure with joints, KIKO TILE tiles are ideal for paving balconies, patios, terraces and conservatories.
They have an already integrated interlocking structure, so they can be installed quickly without tools, directly on the surface to be paved, without the need for an additional substructure.
KIKO floors are environmentally sustainable because their core is made of regenerated hardwood fibres with zero impact on deforestation and polyester and high density (a fully biocompatible PVC substitute); the core is simply melted at very high temperatures together with the shield, so the production process does not involve the use of adhesives or environmentally harmful chemicals. They are 100% recyclable flooring.
Classic KIKO floor cleaning is very easy: indeed, it is precisely the ease and low maintenance over time that is one of the major advantages of choosing this material over others. Some points to consider:
- Use tools with a soft brush and neutral, mild detergents even for deep cleaning. Cleaning with bleach or products containing sodium hypochlorite should be avoided at all costs.
- If a high-pressure cleaner is used, it is recommended to use medium/low pressure and to maintain a distance of at least 30 centimetres from the floor surface.
